Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord Anime Adaptation Announced
A newly launched official website and X (formerly Twitter) account announced that Inoue Mitsuru and Kururi’s Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord light novel series will receive an anime adaptation.
The site also shared celebratory illustrations by the original artist, Kururi, and the manga adaptation’s artist, Aoiro Maro.
Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord began as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website on May 15, 2020. The first light novel volume was released on September 25, 2021, and the latest volume, volume 7, was released on January 25, 2025.
Aoiro Maro’s manga adaptation began serialisation in Comic Gardo magazine on August 13, 2021. Publisher Overlap compiled the manga’s chapters into six volumes, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on April 25, 2025.
